Get a life…
So as some of you have gathered from emails, my life has become “more or less” busy. More busy cause I’m now temping full time, and because I’d been busily house hunting in Edinburgh for The Perfect Flat. Less busy cause the tour’s over, Serenity premiere came and went (general US release YESTERDAY!! Huzzah!), and I’ve now FOUND The Perfect Flat.
For those who can’t be bothered reading the whole thing, I’ll give you the Charlotte’s Notes version. Found Flat, Arden Street, Edinburgh (where the famous Detective Rebus lives, apparently. Not read the books, I’m just going by what folk have told me). Nice big room, sharing with Scottish Ross and French Anouar. Got internet, but alas no computer yet. Matt is constructing it for me, but spare parts are needed, which get bought WHEN I can afford them.
Also temping full time at a property solicitors, answering phones, taking messages, arranging viewings. Learning lots about property, and being well looked after by the staff here, who have provided helpful items such as bedsheets and bathtowels. Lovely folk. Don’t know as yet how much longer I’ll be staying here, but I’ll keep you posted.
Here ends the short version, click on link below if you want the long story.
