Arthur’s Seat

March 29th, 2006 | Category: random chatter

A couple of weekends ago, I got a call from my fabulous mate Janet, inviting me to climb Arthur’s Seat seat with her. Random moments of loving this town

I’ve been meaning to blog about this for ages… I was walking to work a few weeks ago (as I do almost every day now) and my legs found themselves taking a different path to work. It was a gorgeous sunny day, and for once it felt like I didn’t need 16 thousand layers on to stay warm.

However the upshot of that was that it bolstered my immune system to the point where I’ve barely gotten sick since I moved back to Australia. 18 months with hardly a sniffle (thinking back, perhaps I got tonsilitis once, but it could have been before I left for China). My theory has been that because most of the flu bugs come out of Asia, I got them all before the rest of the west, and thusly managed to stay ahead of the flus that hit folk on this side of the former iron curtain for the past 18 months.
