This was sent to me by my friend Jessie (who you may remember from previous adventures in Beijing and Edinburgh). Apparently they’d had 4 days of 40+ degrees in Adelaide, and someone found this overheated beastie in their back garden…

Reportedly the party was crashed by assorted kangaroos, swagmen, and jumbucks, and troopers on thouroughbreds had to be called in after neighbours complained at the racket.

I’d just like to say that I envy that Koala, the cold here in Edinburgh is almost in itself unbearable right now, the wind’s howling a gale at the window, and I’m going to my knitting group tonight to try and finish a beanie to keep my brain warm…
